Lipedema – A common adipose tissue disorder that is believed to affect nearly 11% of adult women worldwide. ymptoms of Lipedema

The typical symptoms are a larger lower half and column like legs which are tender and are bruised easily. For example, the top half of body maybe size 6 but the bottom half may be size 12.
As the condition progresses, fat continues to build up and the lower body gets heavier. The lipedemic fat may later collect in the arms.
If not treated properly, it may lead to many problems such as delayed wound healing, infection, development of scar tissue, and development of hard skin in legs.
